POSITION
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Amsterdam. In this role, you will continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and contribute to a positive customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and playing a key role in maintaining and elevating our brand’s excellent customer service. You will also take an active role in strengthening customer loyalty by finding creative ways to reward and engage our existing customer base.
Please note this is a part-time position (approx. 16-24 hours per week) and would be perfect to combine with school or other personal projects.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Responding to customer inquiries across all channels (email, Facebook, Instagram DM), providing information on products, order status, shipping, and returns.
- Resolving customer issues with a customer-first mindset, demonstrating empathy and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintaining clear and friendly communication with customers, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
- Creating and maintaining email templates for our customer service channels to ensure consistent and efficient communication.
- Developing creative and effective strategies to reward and engage existing customers, helping to build brand loyalty and strengthen customer relationships.
- Actively gathering customer feedback and collaborating with Product Development to identify improvement opportunities.
- Brainstorming with the e-commerce team to explore and enhance customer service processes and overall user experience.
- Staying up to date with product offerings, features, and current promotions to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
- Monitoring customer service processes and proactively flagging any recurring issues or inefficiencies.
- Supporting the e-commerce team with a variety of all-round tasks when needed.
- Handling administrative tasks such as processing returns.
- Collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align customer service efforts with company goals and ensure a smooth customer journey.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to think quickly and provide effective solutions to customer issues.
- A customer-centric mindset with a genuine understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Enthusiastic, well-organized, and possessing an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Willingness to work in a small, dynamic business and collaborate closely with the founder and wider team.
